Brynn Whitfield Teams Up With La Marca Prosecco To Promote Self-Love

Following

Valentine’s Day might be long over, but it’s never too late to love yourself.

Real Housewife of New York Brynn Whitfield is still promoting self-care as she also promotes her favorite Prosecco, La Marca. Whitfield teamed up with the Italian wine around Christmas with her “dolce delivery” promotion, and she again teamed up with the brand last month. “This time around, I really wanted to focus on self-love and encourage everyone to put themself first,” she says. “I feel like I’ve been on a personal campaign the last couple years to change the perception about being in love and what it truly means.”

It has to start personally with self-love, she says. “You can’t open up yourself to someone else unless you love who you are,” Whitfield says. “Thankfully, La Marca agreed that self-love is something that should be celebrated and glamorized.”

Whitfield, in collaboration with La Marca, wants people to take time to celebrate and cherish themselves. Little acts of kindness toward oneself can make a difference, she says. “One way I practice self-love is to take time to transform any seemingly insignificant moment into a memorable celebration for myself,” Whitfield says.

That can be as simple as putting on lipstick before going to the grocery store or drinking orange juice out of a special glass. “I check the box that says ‘this is a gift’ when shopping online, and write a little message to myself,” she says. “I pop open La Marca Prosecco when it’s just a couple girlfriends, and I order in and catch up on a regular Tuesday night.”

Whitfield confesses that she didn’t always treat herself with kindness or love. “For such a long time, I wasn’t in love with myself or where I was at in life,” Whitfield says. “Fast forward, I’m so lucky that I’m now in such a different place and have left those negative feelings in the past.”

It helps, she says, to celebrate yourself. “I feel happy, proud and I want to celebrate exactly where I’m at in life, which is being madly in love with myself,” she says. “So, La Marca and I are teaming up to share the many ways that everyone can practice self-love and share how to add some sparkle and celebration to your life, regardless of where you’re at.”

Whitfield suggests using La Marca to create a La Marca 75 - her personal twist on a French 75 cocktail. But instead of using lemon juice and champagne, she uses La Marca Prosecco Rosé and ruby red grapefruit juice. “I’m so excited to share this cocktail,” she says.

The cocktail, made with 3 ounces Prosecco, 1 ounce gin, 3/4 ounce fresh ruby red grapefruit juice and 3/4 ounce simple syrup, was inspired by her last summer vacation in Capri. “My signature cocktail will turn any regular moment into a true celebration,” Whitfield says. “I wanted to capture all the glam vibes that I love when I’m in Italy, and mix it up with a little downtown New York flavor.”

Drink by itself or by watching episodes of The Real Housewives of New York. When asked about any details concerning the show’s 15th season, Whitfield says “Aughhhh I can’t! I’m super excited and manifesting season 15.”
