Having sold their first can merely two weeks before shelter-in-place orders, since starting BOMANI, they've launched 33 states (6 on-shelves and 32 online), sold into nearly 1,000 retailers (including major retail chains such as Whole Foods, Total Wine, Stater Bros., Gelson’s, and more), and raised one of the largest seed funding rounds of 2020 at $3.5m. Their Chairperson, Shirin Behzadi, is a wildly successful entrepreneur and former CEO of Home Franchise Concepts. Shirin is also the mother of one of the BOMANI co-founders, Sam Madani.
