Founding Story

RALLY is led and wholly-owned by a female business woman and mom who was inspired by the needs and lifestyles of her own high school athletes and their friends. The skin care industry was rapidly evolving towards safer, cleaner formulations and plant powered efficacy, but the options for young skin remained confusing and misleading. As her teens rotated through excessive products at her sink and random drugstore options, they were left with nothing that stuck as “theirs”. There was a glaring disconnect, particularly with boys, between the effort kids were putting into their overall physical health and presence, and basic skincare. Rally was jumpstarted by a research survey of hundreds of high school and college aged kids to uncover what they cared about in skin care. The resounding answers were - trust in products that work, healthy skin, an easy routine, calming irritation, and feeling clean. Whether they were earning their sweat as D1 athletes, through daily workouts, or performing under a different set of lights, they were all in need of a simpler clean. So RALLY set out to develop a line of face care essentials to meet those needs and more.

Gina Coburn

Founder

Gina launched RALLY at the end of 2022 after years of research and product development. RALLY is her first entrepreneurial venture, inspired by her three kids.

Gina's business experience spans finance, strategic planning, and media. She worked for two philanthropic advisory firms, as Senior Advisor to Global Philanthropy Group and Managing Director of the Endeavor Group. Prior to that, Gina was Vice President of Equity Capital Markets for Deutsche Bank. She began her career in the media industry in the Strategic Planning Group at The Walt Disney Company.

Gina received a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Economics from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She has served on several non profit boards, including as National Board Chair of LIFT (whywelift.org).
