Marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis L.) is used historically to moisten and ease sore, dry throat. Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.), is traditionally used to help sore throats due to its demulsifying properties. Sage (Salvia officinalis L.) provides aromatherapy in your cup to ground and clear.
